Is it possible to intercept missiles with missiles?

Is it possible to intercept missiles with missiles?
I don't wanna make a bulky anti-munitions flak defense system to protect my ship from missiles. It's already heavily armored, I'm using nothing but metal and heavy armor, and I don't really fear missiles because of this, but the least amount of damage I take is a priority in this mess. I'm making my second full-metal ship, so it'll be great against most munitions used against it, but I wanna rule out missiles with my own missiles.

TLDR: I wanna intercept missiles with missiles cause it's cool

Absolutely. See the 'Missile Interceptor' block? Put that on the head, build the missile as normal.
PS don't use any warheads as they don't do anything.

At last, a great success!

Wow. That means I can have a front mounted missile battery in the rear of my ship, about 10 should do it on each side. Maybe even seven.

Also missile interceptors have some targeting issues, namely they have trouble with swarms of missiles.

Ya see, I found that out first hand. Watched one of my missiles plow straight through another, didn't detonate. Was badass. But it was also insufficient to have a 20 missile batterie versus a 6 missile battery. Had to scrap the idea until I figure out how to make good missiles for anti-missile air support.

It can help if you stagger fire the interceptor missiles so they aren't all right next to each other. Also adding flares to them can draw in enemy missiles. Bit even optimized they aren't good.

I can sail my airplane in space.

Use munition detectors against missiles,
passive sonar against torpedos.

From the Depths english playlist starts here, before that it's hungarian:

Passive radar picks up radar seekers, which is handy against bermbs.

Procrastination level is over 9000

Also ballistic missiles or other fancy glider missiles, as long as they're radar guided.
