Changing turret base with the sub-object save system
An issue I've encountered that has occurred off and on while updating units is that when attempting to change the base of a saved sub-object the new base will end up placed far away from where it is meant to be. A 3m turntable will end up embedded in the turret cap or the barrels, displacing existing blocks, and deleting the misplaced base will delete the entire sub-object. The workaround ends up being to prefab the turret and manually place it onto a new base, which can result in losing settings on some parts.

I suspect the issue may be prompted by the turret base being painted or previously having blocks placed that would obstruct the new base. The last instance I had with this was working with the Monsoon, a small GT godly blimp.

I confirm this is a thing that happens and that it happens regardless of the size of the new and old turret base. I've had it happen when converting 2-axis turrets to 1-axis, for instance.
