[GT] Yggdrasil replacement request.

[GT] Yggdrasil replacement request.
The Yggdrasil is by far the most outdated unit in the game, as well as being incredibly weak for its role. For this reason, majyst and i have decided to open its slot up for replacement.

Criterion
-must be strong, as a benchmark, it should be able to hold off one or two 30-50FP regular units

-must look good, it doesn't have to be made out of wood like the in-game one, but a tree-styled unit will be preferable. That being said, if you make a non-tree styled fortress that looks and performs amazingly, it will definitely be considered.

How much blockcounts allowed for this?
My work is in progress, and already about 10000 blocks. It might be over twice counts of original Yggdrasil.

The main problem is lag rather than block count, if it lags very little on a lowish-end computer its fine. That being said, try to keep it below 10k, 12k is the absolute maximum.

As for your build, it looks very noice. The only gripe i have is that it isn't very detailed at the moment, (look at ships like the warlord, adrastos, and onslaught for inspiration) but I guess you were going to add details later.
also, go easy with the orange paint, they are called the 'grey' talons after all. Tongue

Thank you for reply, and my work finished.

To add details, it finally becomes over 11000 blocks.
But there are not many engine parts which often make a vehicle toooooo laggy.
It's not laggy in my PC. Please check how laggy this is.
If it's laggy, I must remove 2 or all defense towers.

Weapnly : 50cm triple HESH & flag cannon x 4, low powered anti-missile railgun x 4, 61mm inertial flag cannon x 4, small missile x 8
Defence : shielding, LMD, smoke, HA to critical part

I didn't put repare tentacles in cristals like the Corruption because I think repare cheese is TGish.
(The Corruption is OK because it has no stationary sub-vehicle)
But I'll add them if this fortress should be more strong.

These 50cm composite cannons might be diabolic for who plays easy difficulty...

Raven statues on defense towers came from old Yggdrasil.

Making larger caliber tower cannon may make it more GTish, but it would reduce the combat performance.
Actually I put 30mm flag cannon at first, and it worked better than now.

Railgun parts don't do much work, but I think it looks cool.

If needed, I can add a bit more dakka though it would not change the combat performance.

I suppose I'll provide my cleaned up version of the current Yggdrasil for anyone who wants to try using it as a starting point. I deleted the skydock it had because it was ugly as sin.
