RE: Guaibee's Useful (and experimental) Fuel Engine Platform
There's an especially good 11 long design that's become the standard in many of my crafts, along with a custom length one with a front pre fab, middle, and end. Also worth mentioning that there's a couple of acb's to reduce the engine power to 0 to reduce lag from smoke.

God. I really suck at engine tetris....

My old battleship needs 9000 fuel per every 7 battles now.

Not good at building. So yeah.

1300 fuel per battle is incredibly good for a battleship, especially if it runs good LAMS, shields, smoke, and maybe PACs or lasers. If it just running a few props, that is a problem.

RE: Guaibee's Useful (and experimental) Fuel Engine Platform
Almost the anniversary of the Engine Platform's birth (and again I am liberated from the shackles of exams), and sadly 0-fuel engines are no longer as green as they used to be. It would seem that the engine update mentioned in Devtest v2.1 refers to the calculation of fuel consumption below 0.05 unit/second, thus all 0-fuel engines no longer run on thin air. It was fun while it lasted (albeit not very useful), but the fix is only fair. Anyway, I may be updating bits here and there in the near future.

Amazing!

I've been experimenting with inline turbos, but I had no idea that they could be reversed, and didn't think about linking ALL of the exhaust into one circuit. These engines are fantastic; so good that I actually might not use the green level versions, and possibly not some of the yellow. They just seem a bit overpowered (which is a compliment).

This taught me a lot more about engine design, and is one of the best constructs an efficiency-loving person like myself can find on the forums.

I've just acquired this for the new ships I am building, upon realizing that I cannot build engines.

A force as voracious as time itself.
A void as cryptic as reality itself.
An enigma as vexing as life itself.
