Shaadow SRT [Main] [Recruiting]
The Shaadow's Discord - https://discord.gg/cXY4m

Backstory:

The Shaadows own a vast empire in the Shondsta universe cluster, ruling over hundreds of thousands of galaxies with an unfelt fist that ensures that no crime or insult against them is left unpunished. It is to this end that they have sent a SRT (slow revenge team) to Neter - to retrieve what the Scarlet Dawn took from them and ensure that they will never have the opportunity to do so again. Having developed FTL technology after the Scarlet Dawn stole sub-light interstellar technology from them, they arrived before the Scarlet Dawn, but decided to wait for them to attempt to colonise before destroying them. They hacked the Dawn’s first attempt by inserting a malicious AI into the Guardians to ensure that the Dawn were weakened by their colonisation attempt and to prepare the local inhabitants for their advanced technology. They attempted, with various degrees of success, to sabotage Scarlet Dawn negotiation attempts with locals, but it appeared that the Dawn was far better at negotiating then designing anti-virus software. The Shaadow’s SRT was impressed by the ingenuity and strength of the locals when the Scarlet Dawn invaded for the second time and decided to postpone their own invasion plans until vehicles suitable to destroy the locals had been designed and tested.

Politics:

Leader: Shaadowmaster (Founder, has made himself immortal. Has admin passwords to all tech) Manages the Empire, designs new technology/weaponry (for fun), manages large scale conflicts.
AI council: A group of AIs that were designed by the Shaadowmaster. Handle most complaints (with full access to assassins) and court cases. Take care of minor conflicts, control most planets, do anything the leader doesn't want to.
Assassins: You do not want to meet one... Almost never used (any who say otherwise may meet one)
Admirals: Command QRTs, SRTs, PDFs and battle fleets.
Nobles: Rule small planets not worth AI power (these are elected by the planet in question) or that choose to be governed by them)
Citizens: Lead pleasant, liberal lives.
Robots: Take care of maintenance, farming, crewing ships, etc. (Not AIs)
The dead: Assassins, Admirals, Nobles and Citizens who have passed away.

Laws

There are no laws, the Shaadows are a liberal society. Assassins are almost never used. To keep the state of affairs this way, follow the instructions of anyone above you in the social chain without question.

"Troops"

- AI drones.

AI drones are controlled by larger AI via FTL communications with every AI being able to support quintillions of drones or more (with AIs of the AI council being able to support theoretically unlimited drones) with a small fraction of their computing power. These drones make up the vast majority of the Shaadow's troops as they are quite cheap to make and the loss of one, or a billion, is in no way detrimental to the commanding AI. They are extremely varied, from non-lethal Hunter Seeker drones deployed with humanitarian missions to Hunter Killer drones feared across the galaxy to reconnaissance drones to gather valuable information from the populace using advanced "liquid plastic" disguises. They are also very tough - though weaker then all other combatants - shown by the fact that they can survive a 1 megaton nuclear blast at point blank range. A few have even survived 10 megaton blasts. This category also includes all in-game vehicles. (The AI core is just a receiver. Don't ask why they still crash together despite being controlled by the same entity! Smile )

- Combat Operatives

Combat Operatives are citizens and above that have decided to participate in open warfare. They are highly trained and carry sidearms capable of leveling cities in a single shot while protecting any civilians and/or friendlies. Their primary weapons could easily destroy planets, as they focus the energy of a thousand suns into a beam the size of a human hair, but their weapons use advanced technology to ensure that only this does not happen. They wear no visible armor but carry a small backpack that contains a small white hole which has an event horizon carefully calibrated to encircle their bodies, making them almost invulnerable to harm. These also use technology to stop the Combat Operatives from being torn apart by the intense gravetic repulsion.

- Assassins

Assassins are trained from birth to kill. They are AIs or cyborgs that have been augmented to the point that they are demigods in comparison to the most elite combat operatives, able to process information in attoseconds and armed with weapons that shoot naked singularities or white holes, they are the penultimate killers. They have teleporters that can transport them from one side of the galaxy to the next in a plank instant as well as defenses that guarantee that if the galaxy they were standing in is still there they are still alive.

- The Shaadowmaaster

The ruler of the Shaadows is rarely seen in open combat, but when he does appear the open combat ceases to exist. While accurate data about his capabilities is available to none but him, it is said that he has survived multiple big crunches by simply going to a new dimension, or even revering the crunch. It is said that he can process any amount of information in a single plank instant and act on it the next. It is said that he can "see" light coming at him and step out the way, allowing him to remain totally invisible. It is said that he has been to universes with thousands of different laws of physics and no longer follows any of them. It is said that he can change the laws of physics at will. It is known that he is the ultimate killer.

Please not that the SRT only carries a small amount of Hunter Killer drones (I will be making them in FTD, they are basically NPCs on hovering things) and a single Combat Operative who commands the fleet and will almost certainly stay in space.

Recruiting
We are now recruiting. Entrance requirements are owning the game, you will start at the rank of citizen and gain ranks by submitting vehicles to the faction and having them accepted. If you have a faction you may join us with that faction - all your citizens will become our citizens but you will keep rule over them if they choose to stay (you decide) (You will get technology and protection in return) - but you do not have to. You can always join as a forum member, the leader of a group of diplomats, an advisor, ect. If you do not own a faction you can join as a forum member or make something up. Smile You may advance all the way to the rank of an AI council member and if I ever retire as the Shaadowmaaster then an AI council member may take my place (a tournament between AI council members' submissions will be organized)

Submissions

Weapons

Submissions may use any weapon system but will be evaluated against Godly or expert ships of similar size/rp so relying on simple weapons or weak weapons is not advised. Smile

Aesthetics

Very sleek and futuristic aesthetic (see some of Rosefall's older builds in Robocraft on his Chanel (like the Paladins) or Eldar (all types) and Tau (not Tau spaceships, though) models from Warhammer 40k or Battlefield Gothic for some inspiration/guidance), but do not be afraid to add spikes, ect. This faction is not morally "good" per say, so an evil look is perfectly fine.

Lua

The use of Lua to improve the function of vessels is encouraged but not required, the use of Lua purely for aesthetics should be limited. Any use of Lua that has a detrimental effect on the craft (missiles that write messages in the air, ect) is discouraged, but if craft using it are effective enough they will still be taken.

Defenses

Quite heavy armor (2+ layers of metal beams) is encouraged where it is possible, but a much higher emphasis should be placed on active defenses. All types of active defenses (CIWS, LAMs, shields, ect.) are encouraged. Hard counters should also be used where appropriate (flying to counter torpedoes, speed to counter CRAMs and slower missiles, ect). High regenerative capabilities are also encouraged.

Other

Speeds should be above 50m/s for anything other than large spaceships and ships. If it is possible to achieve these speeds with those types of vehicle it is encouraged.

All unit types are permitted.

Submissions should be made primarily out of metal or alloy, but wood can be used for small fast things that are meant to be fragile.

Interiors will have no weight in the submission process. It is your choice whether to include them or not to include them.

All creations should have a chair on if they have more than 100m^2 of volume. (Just tack one on. You do not need a cockpit, just a chair)

Primary fleet color is black, secondary is royal blue. If you want different colors don't use fleet colors.

If you are unsure about if your creation is suitable but would like to submit it, please do. Smile I would be happy to take a look at it.

All submissions should have AI control.

Corporations

The Shaadow - made up of ships designed by the Shaadowmaster. These can be very expensive or contain advanced technology, limiting their use on the field.

- Shaadow of tears (micro fighter)
- Shaadowstorm (Airborn heavy combat platform. Midstage development.)
- Dark Storm (heavy fighter)

Any submissions should say what the name of the cooperation that made them is - new or existing. If they do not they shall be put in a new cooperation named after their creator. (e.g. Majist inc.) The Shaadow is not fully open for creations so it remains small (to represent the the large amounts of stupidly big spaceships and high tech stuff it technically contains that I cannot build in FTD. If you really want to submit something to it be sure to put a backup faction for it to go to, entrance requirements are very subjective so if you do not get excepted it is probably just because I, personally, do not like the looks of it or the way it fights not be a problem with your build. Smile)

Removing slavery seems to have made my faction a lot less noticeable. Smile

I've never really read your lore before. Could your faction be anymore OP? If you want friendly relations with Aubeth I would suggest you spell the name right. Aubeth is also opposed to the SD so we will probably get along just fine.

RE: Shaadow SRT [Main] [Recruiting]
The Shaadows are OP and are meant to be. That is why my FTD faction is just a military force set out by the Shaadows (The SRT). As to misspelling your name, sorry I just copied the list from Ciranhappy's thread and edited the actual status.

I don't get it. If your weapons are so power how is the SD an threat to you. Shouldn't you just vaporize them in a day?

Yes, we could easily vaporise them (along with Neter) but we are sort of cruel and we want them to suffer/ make an example of them. Smile

Sorry, forgot to add you! Smile We are happy trade with you and support you, but would prefer that trade when through the central "government" rather then directly to our planets to ensure an equal spread of resource.

Oh no, you have different planets, makes it harder, but il seek some friends with spaceships for it.
Going through the central goverment is completly ok, as we are predicting its even more safe than to go all the way.

Now we just a few years getting someone good enough to fly. *sigh* Them little problems are always my issues.

The nation of "Squirrel'Zed" is open for recruiting.
